Dear readers of Chill Philosopher,

I’m sorry that I dropped the ball on continuing to update The Chill Philosopher. I did not realise this till just last month — I was terrified of putting up my content online and unintentionally hurting someone in the process, and I didn’t know that that was what deeply affected me. I thought I was going to put up some awesome articles and started chickening out unconsciously because I was falling prey to my own expectations.

Hahaha yes, I fall prey to the very things I talk about. =)

And for the last few months, I’ve gone through the toughest time of my life and a highly enlightening phase in my life. I learnt a lot about myself, business and my paralysing fear of doing mass harm (i.e. like posting up an article that invalidates people’s experiences). I think I took the Hippocratic Oath too seriously in my medical school days. Heh.

And slowly but surely, I managed to recognise and accept what I can and can’t control. One thing I definitely can’t control is how you will perceive this article. All I can do is put my best effort in articulating my thoughts, no matter how complex or simple, into as clear a manner as possible.

Also, instead, because of some of the ranting nature of some of my posts that I want to write that I realised Medium is not the best publication for, I’ve started and am going to regularly post on my twitter and share the screenshots onto my Instagram account. If you’re still interested in reading Chill Phil thoughts and rants, just head on to my accounts on Twitter and Instagram. =)

Finally, after spending quite a bit of time dealing with my own fears, I managed to start a project that is completely online. It is called The Office Matters, and it is dedicated to managing office politics — the “it” which shall not be named. And for that my team and I have developed an office politics test for you to see how you are doing in the office! The link is here.

I hope to see you on my Twitter and Instagram! Also, on my new platform, The Office Matters. And thank you for supporting The Chill Philosopher! I’ll definitely still post up here from time to time, eventually. ;)
